Vancouver would do well to drop it’s attitued towards graffiti. The rear lanes full of drug users and pushers could become a haven for art installations instead.

Hi Milan, Thanks for the information on The Beatty Wall graffiti and murals. I'm shocked to learn that the city painted over the wall -- I will have to go see this for myself and take a picture. One of the purposes of Graffiti Near Me is to capture graffiti, tag, mural, and other street art before this kind of thing happens and the art work is lost forever. Thank you for your comment! The wall was painted by 15 graffiti artists all with differing styles and skill levels. The piece shown above was painted by Ben Tour. The Beatty Wall was painted blue Dec. 23, 2009 by the City of Vancouver in preparation for the olympics. I guess it didn’t appeal to everyone.
